Rock Star Mural - Ewell Road Surbiton

For several years this impressive mural of pop and rock stars graced the external wall of the Bells Accordian shop

Elvis (This is a rare sighting in Surbiton!)

Kiss

It was replaced in 2001 by a garish poster showing a golf green when the shop was taken over by a golf goods retailer, after a long period of the shop being unoccupied.

Like many of the stars featured, the mural should have enjoyed a much longer life

Dairy

Across the road from this mural there still stands the original entrance to the dairy - a lovely piece of architectural detail from an earlier time, when horsedrawn milk floats would have been a common sight on our roads and tracks
